My Story
My name is Hannah Schroeder, and I grew up just across the river in Brownsville, Minnesota. Since I was very young, I have dreamed of a calling where I could help others. I dreamt of becoming a nurse midwife, a therapist, and then, finally, an early childhood teacher.
The Universe had other plans for me, however, when I had two emergency surgeries at 17, and a two-week hospital stay, leaving me with what doctors told me would be a life altering disability, as well as chronic illness and pain. I had been familiar with Reiki, but I could never have imagined how healing it would be for me. Through the power of Reiki, paired with other forms of Holistic healing and immense lifestyle changes, I live virtually pain free.
In late 2023, I became attuned as a Reiki practitioner, mainly to aid in my work with young children, and to continue my own personal healing. By October of 2024, I decided to make the leap from working as an Early Childhood educator, to starting my own Reiki practice. From there, Prairie Moon was born.
As aforementioned, I am quite green in my practice, but I feel that my connection with the Universe and Spirit lies in my intuitive and psychic abilities. I often receive insight throughout my healing sessions which can come in the form of messages from past loved ones, spiritual guides, and the Universe. As Spirit aids me in guiding the energy through each client’s body, I can often physically feel any blockages in my own body, and am called to different areas to move anything that has become trapped there. My energy healing sessions offer guidance, clarity, and balance energetically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, in a compassionate environment.
